Treon

Robotics, Autonomy & Industrial IoT · Tampere

Wireless industrial vibration sensors of its own design — the Industrial Node C, X and 6 Ex lines, the last rated for explosive atmospheres — feeding the Treon Connect platform for predictive and prescriptive maintenance across manufacturing, material handling and logistics; the platform has since moved up a layer into AI-driven maintenance orchestration, with over 200 enterprise customers. Founded 2016 by seven industry veterans from Nokia and Microsoft with backgrounds in wireless communications and battery-operated devices; offices in France (2023) and New York and Palo Alto (2022). No university or research-institute origin, but the sensor hardware is its own — which is the line separating it from analytics layers built on someone else's data.

How this row was decided

Every row on this map is checked by hand against the trade register and the company's own material, and placed in the sector that best describes its business or its technology. Service firms and consultancies are left out, however advanced the technology they work with — the test is where the revenue comes from. Only funding figures the company or its investor has published are shown. The full rules are on the landscape ↗
